Don't scatter all over the BM> house, confine to a room I could see. DS> The BBS is now in my late parents room...my ham radio stuff is DS> in my room. Actually the BBS is in your room as you own the house! I pretty much ave two areas where my hobbies can be scattered: up here in the Computer Room and in the basement there's an area the size of a room for my Electronics Workbench. Rest of the house is "off limits" except for when installing or a should-be-quick repair. BM> Yes, sounds very smart to dump her. DS> If they want you to: DS> 1) Always take them to the most expensive restaurant, and pay the DS> bill. 2) Forsake all hobbies, and spend every waking moment with DS> them. 3) Fight all their battles for them. DS> 4) Overlook them not showing their kids "tough love". DS> You need to drop them like a hot potato. Definitely. Any of those is a danger. ...Nothing wrong with a little back-and-forth on any: special occasion go to a nice restaurant (and no, I didn't type expensive much less most). Nice to spend time together but everyone needs their own space. Battles: this one gets a hare tricky as some people are much better at standing up for themselves/rights/etc. Tough love -- varying degrees but overall required. BM> I thought that was when sticking them in a blender ==> whirled peas! DS> And, you have a Birds-Eye view of it. Creamed corn is good, refried beans are good.... Musched-up peas - might taste OK but looks like Monkey Vomit. ¯ ® ¯ Barry_Martin_3@ ® ¯ @Q.COM ® ¯ ® .... It was an emotional wedding; even the cake was in tiers. --- MultiMail/Win32 v0.47 þ wcECHO 4.2 ÷ ILink: The Safe BBS þ Bettendorf, IA --- QScan/PCB v1.20a / 01-0462 * Origin: ILink: CFBBS | cfbbs.no-ip.com | 856-933-7096 (454:1/1) .
