  If they want you to:

1) Always take them to the most expensive restaurant, and pay the bill.
2) Forsake all hobbies, and spend every waking moment with them.
3) Fight all their battles for them.
4) Overlook them not showing their kids "tough love".

  You need to drop them like a hot potato.
