Yes, can be better prepared.  It was a little cool here so I had worn as
easy to remove sweater and a lighter-weight winter shirt - figure 
unbutton the cuff and roll up.  That worked, just the sleeve material
bunched up and so couldn't expose the upper portion of the arm.  And now
we know why we were told to always wear clean underwear as my shirt had 
to come off!
