The EKG's, nuclear stress tests, blood work, etc., show no sign of heart damage, heart murmur, etc. Plus, I don't get short of breath square dancing...so, to me, that's a good sign. I'm sure I told you about the time the dachshund Janice and I had, he tried to reassert his role as the dominant male, and I nearly lost my nose (literally). When I asked her "What would you have done, if he got bitten my nose??". She growled "First, I would've taken care of you. Then, I would've killed me a dog. I will NOT let an animal rule me in my own home". He really went ballistic on that (she had put him back in his carrier, and he nearly bit her in the process)...and she sweetly said "Excuse me, darling. I'll be right back". I have to chuckle every time I think about that now...she had fire in her eyes.
