My take on it is that if one wins that kind of money, after paying the taxes on it, and maybe paying off bills, one should put most of it in some safe investment(s), and not use it to change one's lifestyle very much... It's more likely to be helpful, not harmful, that way... and if it's somewhere it can't be touched, all those so-called friends and family have to back down...
