Probably more excuses than viable delays.

We had two semi-local incidents, one in Iowa and the other in Illinois, 
of drivers speeding: one was 121 MPH, the other 123 MPH.  AFAIK the 
posted limits were 70 MPH.  I remember hearing one excuse was "I wanted 
to see how fast it would go".
