In today's computer age, generally phone payments are credited as of the day of the phone call, even if it is Sunday or a bank holiday and the bank is closed... I'd guess that obtains also for online payments... It just doesn't work for mailed payments since not delivered on Sundays or federal holidays, and not processed if the business isn't open, either... but the ones directly into their computer are...
