There are good points and bad points to all seasons (as well as
everything else).  I prefer cool over heat: easier for me to get
comfortable when I'm not sweatin'.  OTOH I do like the challenge
(briefly, please!) and the change of pace.  BTW, has been juuuust above
freezing here the last few mornings.  ...Bit of chit-chat on the local
news as part of the segue into the weather.  One was warming up their 
car, then went out and discovered they had forgotten to turn the heater
on!

Probably depends on the type of tree as well as the tree itself.  When 
we had trees here on the lot (had to be cut down because they died) the 
maple in the back yard had a lot of greenish leaves late in the season,
sometimes late November.  And yes, it would drop them on to the snow.

other than we'll waste that hour gained resetting all the clocks around 
the house.
