Subj : Being Full To : Daryl Stout From : Barry Martin Date : Thu Sep 12 2019 15:45:00 Hi Daryl! BM>For some reason that seems to be old information as I remember being BM>taught the 48-72 hour timeframe. Recently (past decade or so) seems BM>more seeing 24-48 hours. ...Long or short transit times depends on the BM>person and what they eat, so what's normal for you may or may not be for BM>me. DS> You're right...the digestive system is different in everyone, DS> in the time it takes to process food from "intake" to "output". DS> But, otherwise, of males and females, that's the one system where DS> it's identical. Would seem like there should be another anatomical system but can't think of one so will agree. ...And one thing people should remember but often don't is the 'facts and figures' are averages, and even averages of the averages. Some people may 'go' more frequently, some less, but that may be the normal for that particular person. A blood pressure reading of 120/80 is the drilled-in 'normal'. OK, happens to be my normal for decades but varies by age, gender, and definitely person. Knew someone who's BP was something like 60-over -- diastolic was imperceptible. If she were to be placed on medication for low blood pressure and got elevated to the 'normal' of 120/80 it would kill her. For everyone else probably half that low a pressure and we'd be on the ground! BM> BM>... Fish are so hard to toilet train. BM> DS> W.C. Fields said he never drank water, as fish [had sex] in it. BM> :P BM>Worse they pooped in it!! DS> True. I drink a lot of flavored water...the plain tap water is DS> too bland and too tepid...but I will drink it to take my daily DS> medicines with it. LISB4 I pretty much need to drink my water chilled or iced. Flavourings I guess I tend to 'reserve' for special occasions: iced tea, or throw a tea bag in the bottom of the glass and water and ice on top. DS> And, this tagline (which I got from Nancy Backus), comes to DS> mind... DS> * OLX 1.53 * Bacteria are having sex and pooping in your yogurt.
