Right now more like 4' sand dunes: currently in drought conditions, 
which seems rather strange after the flooding we had in the Spring.

That would tend to throw things off.  My cousin and I were driving back
from southern Austria and he was commenting on how his car's thermometer
was displaying an increase in temperature as we were driving into Vienna
- think it was five or six degrees Celsius hotter in Vienna.
