  Well, a pedometer wouldn't have done him much good...unless he did a
lot of walking as well.

  I never kmew there was such a thing until I got engaged. I always
remember on "The Beverly Hillbillies" that Jethro referred to them as
"double barrel slingshots". <G>

  One lady, in preparing for a colonosocopy, considered vodka as a clear
liquid. Technically, it is "clear", but alcoholic beverages dehydrate
you, and her heart literally stopped during surgery. When they revived
her, they scolded her on that, and she ended up doing the prep work
again, and paying for the entire procedure herself!! I'd rather do it
right the first time, myself. Plus, when I had the upper GI (EGD) and
the lower GI (colonoscopy) done at the same time, one was done for 50%
off, and I only had to pay one anesthesia fee.

NB>You'd need to be in a colony in a very temperate zone with no insects

  Not sure where I'd find one of those. It'd be my luck I'd sit down
near an ant nest. :P
