An update from Daryl:


The insurance company finally approved the claim,  but I'll have to pay
for the surge protection,  and the permits; but they'll reimburse me for
the permits.  I won't be able to get reimbursed for the hotel costs,
though.

With the schedule,  the contractor can't start work until Tuesday
morning,  but I should have power Tuesday afternoon,  nearly 2 weeks
after the storms. I will do the Arklatex D-Star Net  Tuesday night,
weather permitting,  but otherwise,  am off the air until then.

 To Steven Reiners...if you can take the Trains Net for me tonight,  and
 the Food Net for me tomorrow night,  I'd appreciate it. To Mike Sturm,
 if you can take the QCWA Sunday afternoon Net for me this Sunday,  I'd
 appreciate it.

  My next step is to install Windows 10 Pro and IObit Utilities on the
  BBS  computer  (where the ham radio stuff is), plus the laptop
  computer,  and what was my Mom's computer. Since I cancelled my
  vacations,  I won't be out of the state ever again. The update
  installation will take a long time.

  I will send another message once things have stabilized.
