  I was in Miami on Jan. 19, 1977, when snow fell there for the first
time in recorded history. They observed it at Miami International
Airport, and had 3 inches just north of Miami in the community of
Carol City.

  But that year, much of Florida's citrus crop was destroyed, and
the prices of various juices and other products went through the
roof!!

  The tourists were furious..."I came down here to get away from
all of this!!".
