Actually decades ago I did buy an LP I wasn't all that fond of as a test
record: adjust the tonearm's tracking, weight, etc.  Wasn't a horrible 
record, just something I wouldn't usually listen to.  Probably got it 
super-cheap.

Also have CD for similar use for testing CD/DVDs.
