I've inherited a PowerEdge R510 server! great whopping rackmount type 
monster, dual Xeon, 64GB RAM, 12 drive bays, all full (8 3TB SAS, 4 
480GB SATA SSDs which will be used to upgrade other stuff). No OS, cuz 
it was using some cloud OS from which it's now disconnected.

Lest this sound too spectacular, you can buy 'em off eBay for $75 
stripped or $300 fully loaded. How value flies when you're a server, 
even if you're still a toddler in human years....

So let's play... what shall I do with it? am thinking it should be a 
backup server, tho needless to say I have no idea how to set that up. 
Suggestions?

Sounds like a helicopter taking off, tho quiets down after a bit.
