I guess there is no perfect OS. There are certainly some drawbacks if you have a bunch of Windows programs that will no longer run on your computer. I found a way to upgrade Win 10 to 11 with no problems at all. If you can do this, it is certainly the best option since you don't lose your programs or files. My second computer is a Windows upgrade and runs perfectly. The upgrade doesn't speed up the computer, but the best thing about it that it extends the OS to October 2029.
