It seems to install on just about anything, and works very well. We seem to have entirely different requirements... I tried it on a middle-aged but decent HP laptop (midrange i5, 8GB RAM). It is certified for ChromeOS Flex, which seems to be the one that's available. It runs, I'll give it that. It took over an hour to install, then it did a full replacement update even tho I'd just downloaded the current version a few hours previous. Beyond that... unless I only want to do browser things, it is the most singularly useless OS I have ever seen. (Worse than the Android derivative on my unloved Kindle Fire, which runs better and at least mostly works.) It cannot use the Google Play store, which was the entire reason I tried it (wanted something with a screen bigger than a postage stamp to run the Starlink app). The help for Google Play just goes in circles. Because of that, there is no way to install anything that isn't actually a browser extension. Dark mode is weird, it's actually some sort of Night Light with a black background. All of what should be light or white are... orange. So... yikes, NOT what I need in an OS, not even . But it was good to try and find that out!! þ RNET 2.10U: ILink: Techware BBS þ Hollywood, Ca þ www.techware2k.com --- QScan/PCB v1.20a / 01-0462 * Origin: ILink: CFBBS | cfbbs.no-ip.com (454:1/1) .
