  They start burning, and I feel like there's something in the eye besides
the eyeball, like a speck of dirt.

  Plus, the vision would blur...and especially at night, or on a cloudy
day, there'd be haloes around the car lights and streetlights. 

  While I no longer drive, and no longer have a car, when the eyes start
giving me fits, it's time to get away from the computer, and lay down for
awhile...and that's starting to happen even now.
