I had a rapid heart rate, and with having congestive heart failure, I thought I was going back into atrial flutter or atrial fibrillation. The doctors (and I, afterwards) suspected that it was caused by not taking the blood pressure medication after eating the small sausage biscuits, as I didn't think that'd be enough to keep me from getting sick, as some of the other medicines need to be taken with food. The heart rate has stabilized, but I may have to increase the dosage on the blood pressure medicine. BM> And the security alarm gets triggered while it tries to figure which BM> window got broken! Microsoft on the latest Update?? BM> I called my ex 'Moonshine' because I loved her still! I'll drink to that!! BM> I spend too much time at the computers also: the usual e-mail, trivia- BM> type sites for keeping the mind going (not all that into game-playing). A: Well, it's in the bedroom, but I think I'm the one getting screwed. BM> Though that can cause all sorts of surprises: some good, some bad! I'd rather have someone do the cooking for me. But, with a shortage on funds and food, I'm back to eating only 1 meal a day, and I may try to sleep the rest of the time. I hope my new Medicare plan next month will allow me to do better on the groceries. As it is, with Lyft, I only go out twice a month...then I'm looking at 4 walls all the time. Had it not been for my hobbies, I'd probably just isolate myself entirely, and waste away. BM> Yes, some medications require food before or after; not following that BM> advice can really screw things up. So far nothing all that nasty a BM> side effect with my prescriptions. I do check their monographs for BM> potential side-effects that may be sneaking up. Overmedicated?? We have a prescription for that!! :P BM> Yes. Along those lines one of the hospital groups did some changing BM> around, though not in direct response to COVID and RSV: they closed an BM> emergency room at one hospital on the West End and added one to a BM> facilty on the East End. Sounds population-biased, doesn't it?! The BM> "West" site is only about a mile from the 'main' hospital. (The West BM> site is now mostly treatment for cancer and some other specialities.) Two former area hospitals were changed into medical training facilities. BM> Yes, after a hospitalization, even a relatively minor one, one doesn't BM> want to stress! No storms up here, though a couple of mornings was BM> _very_ foggy. House is on a bluff and usually when there is fog in the BM> area when I look outside it's "yeah, there's a bit of gray in the BM> distance". The couple of mornings it was very noticeable when looking BM> across the street! Another round of severe weather in the Arklatex and Arklamiss...with more tornadoes, wind damage, large hail, flooding, and unfortunately, some fatalities as well. Much colder weather is coming for my area, with highs only in the 40s, but I know it's much colder up in Iowa. Daryl .... I have a rock garden. Last week, 3 of them died. === MultiMail/Win v0.52 --- SBBSecho 3.15-Win32 * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS - Little Rock, Arkansas (454:1/33) .
