I scanned though but didn't see anything for > my part of the country (eastern Iowa halfway between Chicago and Des > Moines). The local stations have been warning for days of a heavy snow > starting tonight (Friday): first of around four inches, then six inches, > last night and this morning of eight and possibly more. We'll see! MP> So how has it gone so far? ;) A little sore! Locally we received about 9" of a heavier snow. My little weather display frequently said "Mist, snow" and 'Snow, mist" as the temperature stayed pretty much at the 30ø mark. We shoveled several times just to keep up. Actually first time the main intent was to make a path for the mailman (from the north side to the south side of the property: driveway, sidewalk close ot the house, mailbox, continue on across the patio and a bit of yard to where we either connect with the neighbour's path or they connect with ours, whoever is first). Supposed to get another inch or so this afternoon -- good news; light and fluffy! MP> They have posted another outlook for a storm in the next couple MP> of days but seem less certain (as yet) where it will be bad. They're also predicting very cold temperatures for Thursday. ¯ ® ¯ BarryMartin3@MyMetronet.NET ® ¯ ® .... Cat: Wanna go outside. Oh,Help! I got outside!
