A "WORMHOLE" OVER ALASKA: Last weekend, onlookers in Alaska were surprised when
a glowing "wormhole" appeared in the midnight sky. It was actually a science
experiment. Researchers from the University of Alaska (Fairbanks) created the
vaporous structure to answer a question: Can auroras make the upper atmosphere
