Those doing it say it's healthy - both mentally and physically.  I sort 
of go with if they like it and not harming me, fine.  I'm not recalling 
any medical reports saying it's healthy but then I'm not into it so 
wouldn't necessarily pay attention.  Laying out in the sun like a
hound-dog is sufficiently warm for me!
