I sort of like the 'challenge' but only for a short time: to me it's 
sort of 'fun' to withstand a (short) period of extreme weather -- as 
long as I'm prepared for it!  OTOH I'm not one for stuff like doing a 
sauna and then plunge into an ice bath or frozen-over lake.
