Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS is emerging from the glare of the sun as a bright
evening comet

BRIGHT EVENING COMET ALERT: Astronomers are reporting a bright comet in the
sunset sky. It is Tsuchinshan-ATLAS (C/2023 A3), just emerging from the glare
of the sun. At the moment, the comet is low and surrounded by bright twilight,
but this will change in the evenings ahead as it rapidly increases in altitude
above the setting sun.
