Subj : Web Design Program To : All From : Mike Dippel Date : Tue Feb 14 2023 11:12:32 I have been doing web design for many years and have created sites for over 200 customers. I used to use a program called Microsoft Front Page. The beauty of this was that if front page extensions were installed on the server, you could log directly into the server to do your edits. Once saved, it went live. Microsoft discontinued Front Page, but created a better version of it known as Microsoft Expression Web 4. This too uses the front page extensions on the server so you can also log in to do your edits. Web Expressions 4 doesn't handle responsive web design all that well, but if you have a good template, you can use it to create sites fairly well. One good thing about it is that it checks to ensure your coding is correct. I would still like to find the 'perfect' program, but this will do for now. I will never get into WordPress. I want every page to have its own descriptive name and I don't think you can do this with WordPress. Any feedback?
