  The Backslidden Baptist Church, with brother better than you, and
all the other reprobates. <G>

  There was a comic strip years ago, done by Doug Marlette, who was
a preacher (he passed away several years ago).

  The strip was known as "Kudzu"...spelled the same as that green
vine in the south that takes over everything, just like ivy.

  There were 2 related comic strips where Reverend Will B. Dunn (the
pastor) was going to get into politics. 

  In the first one, he asks The Lord if he should get into politics. 
A huge earthquake occurs, and out of the cliff, the rocks spell the 
letters "NO WAY!!". <G>

  In the second one, he's on his knees, asking The Lord what his
chances are about becoming President Of The United States. Then,
a door opens up in the floor, and here's Satan with a huge snowball
in his hand. To which, the preacher laments "You don't beat around
the bush, do you, Lord??". <G>

  I can't have that anymore...the caffeine makes my heart race. That
means no more chocolate iced donuts, either <SOB!>.
