BM> And sometimes not even then -- "I'll just buy a new one". DS> That's basically the philosophy...it's cheaper to buy a new DS> item, than spend the money to repair it. Yeahhhh: I just did that with a TV. Several year old information on the web indicated the solution to the issue was replacing a module board - not 100% but probably -- and at that time the module was a little over $50. Assuming the replacement solved the problem still have an older TV, which means the rest of the parts are deteriorating, and as Ky pointed out, something caused the module to fail. DS> I'm making chocolate chip cookies, and have more M&M's to peel. BM> What do you do with the shells? Remember when my Mother put egg shells BM> in a gallon of water and then used that to water the houseplants. BM> Stuuuunk! DS> I'll bet it did...nothing worse than rotten eggs (sulphur). I'm not even sure the eggshell solution did all that much to make the plants took better than they did. Looked fine to me before she started watering with that stuff and after finally stopping couldn't tell the difference. (Visually anyway!) ¯ BarryMartin3@ ® ¯ @MyMetronet.NET ® ....
