BM> If the doctor doesn't know by now I'd be more than a little worried! DS> Or when I got my wings clipped (vasectomy), the doctor quipped DS> about "if I came in with a hot dog with mustard in one hand, and DS> a book that said 'Vasectomy 101' in the other, you might be DS> worried". :P BM> Yeah, a bit old-fashioned: should at least be an on-line instructional BM> video! At least it didn't say "Patient must get naked first". :P A fellow ham radio operator was told to "remove all your clothes, put the gown on, and get into the bed" (in the prep area). He asked "Couldn't we discuss this over dinner and a few drinks, and get to know each other better, first??". :P Another one asked "Where do I put my clothes after I remove them??". Grinning wryly, the nurse said "On the floor, next to mine". BM> Best to have things checked every so often just to be sure. Hopefully BM> is just a waste of time and money. If they find something, it's early enough, and treatable. BM> statement (if no window envelope provided) or make a bunch of labels BM> and use them. I have a self inking stamp to make it easier. BM> Hasn't rained for a while. We could use some here...north Arkansas is under a Red Flag Warning today. DS> Well, the car now has fresh tires, and has been winterized. My DS> next deal is to get Maaco to repaint it. BM> I don't know if they're still around locally..... Chicago and Peoria. There's one less than 2 miles from me. BM> So you will have to plan ahead to get the trip details you desire -- BM> which makes sense: can't do 'standby' and expect first class window BM> seat accomodations. I lucked out. With the Guest Rewards Points I had, I only had to pay for the final segment home. But, each segment has the handicapped accessible bedroom, with an in-room toilet and sink...and it's on the lower level, so I don't have to negotiate those narrow steps. My total rail fare was $301...the rest of the segments were "free" (taken care of by the Guest Rewards points. But, I get all my meals included. BM> Vaguely rotary telephones -- think had them in the office when I was BM> working College Admissions as I remember fiddling with a project to put BM> an external TouchTone box on mine but chickened out at the actual BM> attachment. I think of the meme with the 2 cellphones, walking in to the room, and see this big rotary phone, and they say "Grandma!!" DS> I used to have a recording which sounded like I was giving the DS> weather forecast...with sounds of tornado sirens and hurricane DS> winds in the background. BM> That was some batherroom session!! That's because Thunderclap is a violent form of VD. DS> With traveling Sleeping Car, you can keep your mask off in your DS> private compartment. BM> Yes; I was thinking of a longer stroll through the other cars. I'll be happy in my compartment alone. BM> I sort of wander the path of cautious. Overly careful takes the fun BM> out of things. Don't want to get injured, but don't want to bubble BM> wrap my life. Some things are "overkill". DS> But, it shines the butt cheeks as you slide across it. :P BM> They just don't make pants and underwear like they used to! That's true. DS> would fart simultaneously. BM> That'll make the CO detectors scream! Very much so. BM> OTOH I was told as a teenager I might be dead by 40 or 50 depending BM> on the progression of the muscle syndrome I have. Ha-ha! Fooled you. :P BM> I have a panel cartoon about chickens preferring RSS feed. (And it BM> wasn't from a site computer nerds hang out!) Oh, brother. Daryl ....
