Subj : Warning Labels To : Daryl Stout From : Barry Martin Date : Fri Oct 09 2020 12:16:00 Hi Daryl! DS> And, they are so impressionable. BM> That mean they dent easily?! DS> Only if you spank them too hard. :P Personally I am in general favour of a spanking when warranted. One swat may be sufficient, sometimes two or three. Anything beyond is probably a sign the person issuing the punishment is out of control. And not really a punishment but more correction. I remember being spanked two, maybe three times. The warning of being in trouble, or about to be in trouble was "do you want [to be spanked with] the wooden spoon?". I don't recall ever being struck with a wooden spoon much less one being taken out of the drawer but do know if I got that threat the next step would not be pleasant for me. BM> And that show was ahead of its time: isolated the panelists in their BM> own little square! DS> One deal that Paul Lynde did had the audience in hysterical DS> laughter for nearly 20 minutes. He wondered later "how they got DS> away with so much"...but, that's so tame by today's standards. Sort of along that to me the old movie scene of the camera panning from the couple about to make love on the beach to the ocean and sky was a little silly, OTOH I don't paricularly want to see them ripping off their clothes and "doing the nasty" either. (Then I'm thinking of the blooper: "durn elastic won't break/tear!".) BM> ... Insert diskette in Drive C:. Press [ENTER] to continue. DS> One woman (a blonde??) thought her 3.5" floppy drive was an DS> ATM, and she couldn't figure out why her credit card transaction DS> wouldn't process. BM> Wrong PIN? DS> Or not enough X's. :P Should start with O's! ...Hmm: the phrase (and song) is "X's and O's". DS> ... How do self addressed stamped envelopes do such?? I think it's something like tattooing oneself! ¯ BarryMartin3@ ® ¯ @MyMetronet.NET ® ....
