Also, the net is a bit lower. Instead of rackets, you use composite paddles to hit a plastic whiffle ball. Serving is done underhanded. Keeping the score is a bit tricky. My score first, your score second, and which person is serving will determine how you call the score. If I the first server and my team has 2 and the other team has 1, the score would be 2-1-1 (1 because I am the first server). You can only score a point on your team's serve. Once both team members don't score a point, the serve reverts to the other team. There is a lined area on either side of the net nicknamed the "kitchen" (non-volley zone). You can't volley the ball (strike it without it bouncing first) while standing in the kitchen. This is meant to prevent players standing near the net to slam the ball back. You play to 11 and you have to win by 2. Because the court is smaller than a tennis court, you don't have to work quite as hard to get to the ball. There's a lot more. Perhaps Jan can continue, but I recommend watching play on YouTube. Mike Dippel --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v7.0 * Origin: The Hobby Line! BBS (954:895/1) .
