It is played using a paddle and a plastic ball with holes in it. The amount of holes varies depending on whether it is played indoors or out. Indoors, I have seen it played on carpet, but normally on a gymnasium-type wooden floor. Outdoors, the court is similar to asphalt, but much better. Scoring is probably the most difficult part of the game to learn, but it comes easily once you start playing. I would do a search on YouTube to learn more and see it in action.
