Joey Dee and the Starliters played at my cousins engagement party back in the late 60's or early 70's at a restaurant in the Bronx (I was not there as I was a little kid).. Kenny Vance is unbelievable.. A friend of mine was very close friends with Jay Black, I had asked him to sing Cara Mia at my daughters wedding for her and I to dance to. Unfortunately, due to Covid we had to postpone the wedding, when we rescheduled a year later, Jay's Dementia was really bad, so he couldn't do it, one thing though, he never lost that unbelievable voice!! Unfortunately, only a few months later he passed on.. The old singers from my youth and just before are all going..

We'll all be looking for an echo soon...
