I learned the accordion when I was in Grade School, and used that knowledge to play the organ.  I've been playing now since 1963.

I watched a Lady Gaga / Tony Bennett special recently, and it is amazing how music takes Tony out of his alzheimers shell and allows him to sing nearly as well as he used to.  Music is truly a gift that helps heal the soul.

Sometimes I sit down to play, and several hours goes by without me realizing it.
