(Coincidentally I write this while listening to a song by Sarah McLachlan..)

I have close to 30 of her pieces in my collection that I play while
on the computer.

That would be good to see.. She's another of those singers like
Carly Simon who are actually terrified to be on stage, so it's
a bigger issue for her to tour than for most..

She was helped get over that a bit when she did the Lilith Fair
tour with a bunch of other lady singers.

Yes, I heard about that. A few singers seem to be having problems
with that in recent years, i.e. Celine Dion, Adele and a few others.
I was thinking maybe Serene Ryder as well but she had to quit for a
while due to depression.

Funny story.. I once went to an open air Free concert near Toronto
and there was almost noone there in the audience, like a dozen or
so people. This lady came out and started playing guitar and singing.
Some total unknown at the time but I thought she was pretty good.
It was a few years later I got to see Sheryl Crow come into her own..
