You might have listened to 8 track. I'm not that old ;) I did have some records and more so now. In fact I just took delivery of R.E.M.'s Out of Time on yellow vinyl. I have some other colored vinyl records and a few rare Record Store Days released including A-ha's Hunting High and Low The Early Alternative Mixes (6000 copies), Peter Gabriel Rated PG (2000 copies), Queen Bo Rhap 2x12" picture disk and Bo Rhap/I'm in Love with My Car 7" (2300 and 2500 released). I've also got a Jean Michel Jarre RSD release of which only 75 were available. I've got hundreds of 7" singles and thousands of CDs. I'm actually trying to sell the CDs so I can buy more vinyl :) > Now, we take music with us everywhere for a small subscription fee. It's just a matter of which one to choose. .
