Subj : Re: Resin Pouring To : All From : SirRonmit Date : Tue Nov 14 2023 09:37:19 I took a chance and tried a hand at Resin Pouring this past weekend. I was pleasantly surprised of the outcome. I took the casts to work and a co-worker who does a lot of pours himself asked what resin I used because he couldn't believe how nice it turned out (even without a pressure chamber - aka debubbler.) I can't post images here, but here is a link to my project page: https://f4fbbs.com/HumHub/index.php?r=content%2Fperma&id=193 I knew my Resin 3D Printer I can make molds with it, but I purchased a silicone mold for testing and playing around. I like it and my co-worker told me to heat up the resin and hardener in separate cups within warm water and the bubbles will more or less go away on there own - that I'd only need the vacuum chamber on larger projects like what he creates. all in all - Fun new Hobby (of which I have WAY too many and don't have time for them all)! -- Timothy Norris aka SirRonmit admin@f4fbbs.com bbs.f4fbbs.com:2323 or :62323 --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A48 (Windows/32) * Origin: Files 4 Fun BBS (954:895/45) .
