Subj : Sailing To : All From : Nitron Date : Mon May 16 2022 10:42:24 Any sailors out there? I have been racing keelboats for about 15 years in a beer can league out of my home towns yacht club. I'm fortunate to live somewhere 'landlocked' so sailing is actually affordable to us mere mortals, unlike many coastal cities where slip costs can run into the thousands per year.. It's good clean fun, and relatively low-impact for those less agile than they once were before, like me - as long as we avoid going out on the *REally* windy days. I race a 22ft keelboat type called a 'Tanzer 22' Maybe this belongs in the 'sports' echo ;).. If you ask the sporty types they will often lump sailing in with 'golf' as 'not a sport' ;) |11-|15Ni|15TR|11ON:|03:: |08: : ....
