Last week was the ARRL Board of Directors meeting and I have been working on related matters of the ARRL Board and the ARRL Foundation. Progress was made on several fronts as we continue to see the changes at HQ with respect to improving member benefits and services. I will provide a full account of what transpired as the final details of our work is completed. Our special guest from ARRL HQ will be the new Education and Learning Manager, our very own Steve Goodgame, K5ATA. Steve is from Abbeville, MS and is currently working both at HQ and telecommuting. Steve has a proven track record with schools and education involving amateur radio and will be giving us a good look at the direction ARRL is going with lifelong learning and education. Let's turn out at the convention/hamfest forum and support Steve and his efforts.
