Greetings Delta Members,

It has been a rough past several days, with the Mississippi tornado last
Friday, and today in Little Rock, AR. I personally watched the tornado
today pass within two miles of my office, as it plowed through the city
in which I work.

There is much damage, and our thoughts and prayers and efforts are with
the victims both in MS and AR. Throughout this, our amateur radio operator
storm spotters in Skywarn and ARES were working and reporting vital
information back to NWS. Hams save lives. Now the storms have passed, we
are going into the Search And Rescue phase and into recovery right away.
Get involved and get radio active.  Thank you.

This weekend's events are the April Fool's Hamfest in Corinth, MS.
Also, this weekend is the Mississippi QSO Party, and to add to MS
operating activity, W1AW/5 is active this week for the ARRL Volunteers
on the Air - VOTA.  Get on and work, or drop by Corinth if you are so
inclined, and have an eyeball QSO with old friends.
