From wikitree.com: One of his most notable accomplishments came in the Indianapolis 500, where he won twice, first in 1990 and then again in 1997. His victory in the 1990 Indianapolis 500 was particularly memorable, as he set the record for the fastest average speed in the history of the race, a record that still stands today. I would certainly be rooting for him if he was still racing. Currently, he is a a team owner and occasional commentator. And he is a distant cousin of mine. I wouldn't have known this if it wasn't for me tracing my roots. That's why genealogy is one of my favorite hobbies. Mike Dippel --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v7.0 * Origin: The Hobby Line!
