  The November, 2021, issue of "The Modern Square", the monthly publication
of the Arkansas State Square Dance Federation (ASSDF), is released today,
Oct. 17, 2021. Weather and computer issues were the reason for the delay.

  The publication is now available on the ASSDF website, which is located
at https://www.arkansassquaredance.com/the-modern-square

  Due to an unusually large amount of pictures submitted with this issue
(it's rare I get 1 to 2 dozen photos), I had to create 3 separate PDF
files, that are available at the same URL noted above. These include:

1) The 2021 ASSDF Fall Festival in Texarkana, Oct. 7-9, 2021.

2) The Maverick Mixers 50's and Subscription Dance on Sept. 25, 2021.

3) The Bluebird Squares Spaghetti Dinner and Dance on Sept. 18, 2021,
and the Bluebird Squares 501 Life Dance on Oct. 16, 2021.

  Just click on the desired link(s) for the file(s)...note that all
of these can be quite large.

  The back issue of the print edition is now online for the September,
2021 issue. This "delay" keeps non-subscribers from getting the current
print edition in a timely manner, while others are paying $20 per year.

  I've also set up a section on the NEW DANCERS page of the ASSDF website,
for clubs who are planning to, or currently doing lessons. Please check
with the contact person noted, to be sure the class is still scheduled.

  And, please call before you travel, in case of last minute changes or
cancellations. If you're not feeling well on a dance night, or if bad
weather is an issue, please stay home.

  Work on the December, 2021 issue will start around Nov. 8, 2021, with
the deadline for it on Nov. 14, 2021.
