  At the just concluded 72nd National Square Dance Convention (R)(NSDC)
that was held in Mobile, Alabama...the bid for the 75th NSDC, to be held
June 24-27, 2026, was awarded to Waco, Texas -- the theme will be "A
Diamond Jubilee", as 75 years is considered "the diamond event".

  Prior to that are the following NSDC's:

June 26-29, 2024: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
June 25-28, 2025: Shreveport, Louisiana

  Basically, after being along the Gulf Coast in 2023, and set for the
upper Midwest/Great Lakes in 2024, the Arklatex Region (Arkansas, Texas,
and Louisiana) will host the 2025 and 2026 NSDC's...and many dancers are
expected for both events.

  You can visit the upcoming NSDC websites at https://www.nsdcnec.com --
the link to the 2023 NSDC (just concluded) will be removed shortly.

  You can go to the website of the Arkansas State Square Dance Federation
(ASSDF) at https://www.arkansassquaredance.com/events -- scroll down to
"Conventions And Special Dances"...then look for the links on the 73rd
and 74th NSDC's.

  A full registration form is available for the 73rd NSDC in Milwaukee,
but only an "early bird registration form" is currently available for the
74th NSDC in Shreveport...the full registration form for that NSDC will
be available either at the Pre-Convention Dance in March, 2024...or by
June, 2024 at the latest.

  Links to the website/domain and an early registration form for the 75th
NSDC in Waco, Texas, will be posted as soon as they become available.

  Unfortunately, health and finances don't permit me to travel outside of
the central Arkansas area anymore, so it's unlikely I'll be able to attend
any of these NSDC's. However, I will do what I can to provide publicity
for them.
