  There is an email scam making the rounds, with the addressee name
of Ted and Tonia...for Ted and Tonia Hofmeister, current president
of the Arkansas State Square Dance Federation. The fraudulent email,
from GMail, starts with "president", then has numbers after it.

  THIS IS A SCAM, and NOT from Ted or Tonia!! The person will try
to get you to purchase a large amount of iTunes cards ($500), and
send them the info on the cards, and promising reimbursement. Others
have verified that they have received a similar email, and that it's
a scam!!

  Ted and Tonia's email are listed in The Modern Square, and on the
ASSDF website at https://www.arkansassquaredance.com -- and they would
never send out an email like this.

  If you receive a scam as noted above...delete it, and put the address
in your spam filter to block it. Any email asking you to buy something
for them, or saying you've won a lottery, etc., is fraudulent from the
word GO.

  As for The Modern Square, I'm planning to release the July, 2021
issue (e-Edition) on Tuesday, July 15...and send the print edition
to the printer. I'm still waiting on the stragglers on the various
club reports...and at present, I have no photos for this month's
e-Edition. I've had trouble with Facebook lately, so I can't just
go to a club's page and grab pictures.
