My parents were not big on swearing other than the odd shocking
event that could bring out a rather mild 4 letter word.

I must have been pretty careful selecting because the two women
that were with me for 4.5 and 6.5 years didn't swear at all if
I remember clearly..  Personally, somewhere I picked up the bad
habit of that shock-situation swear, but somehow over the years
I picked up the 'F' word there unfortunately. Generally I don't
use any swear words for emphasis in conversation.
