We are currently in the Naples, Fl area for two reasons.  First, we are attending the U.S. 
Open Pickleball championships there.  Secondly, we will be camping with our Caloosa 
Winnies group later this week.

We try to attend the Open every year.  It gives us a chance to camp in our motorhome 
at a campground nearby.  We saw some great matches today, and all of them under 
cover from the sun.  We pay a nominal fee to be in the Zing Zang court where you see 
nothing but great matches, most of which are played by the pros.

One unfortunate thing is that I was unable to tow our car behind the motorhome.  The 
car which we used to use was totaled on Valentines Day.  Our new car is a 2025 Ford 
Escape plug-in hybrid rated at 101 MPG.  The reason why we can't tow it is that it will 
cost upwards of $6000 to put the hitch on it and that is not in our budget right now. 
(When we make our annual trip to Michigan this summer, we will leave the motorhome 
in the storage lot and just drive the car.)

On this trip, my wife drove the car and I drove the motorhome.  She got a lot better fuel 
mileage than I did :)
