My wife and I are going to head to North Georgia the day before Thanksgiving.  We have 
2 options: rent a car because we need room to transport Christmas gifts, or drive the 
motorhome which has plenty of room for gifts.

We just had 6 new house batteries installed (big expense but necessary).  The only 
other repair necessary is to fix the bed (it doesn't fold down after the room is extended).

If my son decides to go with us, we will have rent the car because he will need to get 
home to be able to go to work.  If he doesn't come, we will have more time available 
and will probably use the motorhome.  Of course, we need to make sure the 
campground we normally use is still open for the season.  North Georgia around 
Thanksgiving could pose a problem.

Once the motorhome is fixed, it won't take much persuasion to get me to start using it 
again.
