Subj : We're Camping Now To : All From : Mike Dippel Date : Fri Nov 08 2024 20:01:04 We arrived yesterday after a 90 minute drive. It's been a while since we last camped and it was great to see old friends. Every day we have a 4:00 PM Happy Hour where we talk about our summer travels. Yesterday we had a catered dinner, then an ice cream social afterwards. Not bad, huh! Today we had a shuffleboard tournament and I came in 2nd place. Tonight we did Longhorn Steakhouse. I know. So far it doesn't sound much like camping, but this is a typical rally for us old people. We have a few more events planned for the next 2 days. I need internet access while camping. My phone's hotspot isn't the greatest so I decided to take advantage of the parks Wi-Fi which is done through a 3rd party company. Just $7.95 a day for 10MBs connection. Unfortunately, the nearest repeater was down so I couldn't even connect my Roku device to it. Thankfully I got an immediate refund. Anyway, I have to use my slow hotspot, but it seems adequate. I would love to find the perfect solution for internet access while camping. Still haven't found the answer yet, but the good times we have makes up for that.
