I get that expectations need to be set, but come on... could we at > least wait a litte bit longer? Technically speaking, patients who are covered by insurance are not regarded as customers by the hospital. The insurance is the hospital's customer, and the patient is the insurance's customer. Something people rarely realizes is that what they regard as funky behavior from hospitals and doctors is actually medical professionals trying to balñance the interests of every party involved while one of the parties is being outright scammy. I am not gonna name any company (not that you would b familiar with Spanish insurance companies) but sometimes a company will delay payment badly, or drop some service from the contract, and you happen to have a good bunch of patients from said company in the queue. You may as well drop them all, but then there are humanitarian and practical reasons not to. Oftentimes you end up comitting some ugly irregularity so you can still provide some service, and after you do so in order no to get everybody dropped, **they still come throwing stones at you and complaining**. -- gopher://gopher.richardfalken.com/1/richardfalken --- SBBSecho 3.20-Linux * Origin: Palantir * palantirbbs.ddns.net * Pensacola, FL * (21:2/138) .
