Ugh... contract negotiations. The customers always get caught in the crossfire.
I remember ViacomCBS pulling the same stunt everytime their contract is due.
They would put messages on the screen saying that these channels could get
pulled if the customers don't do something with their cable provider. Sadly, it
wasn't limited to cable channels either. I had one instance where my health
insurance was about to drop our local hospital from their network, and we
scrambled to find anouter hospital to go to (my wife was pregnant at that time,
and were sticking with out local hospital until they pulled this stunt.)

Thankfully, they got the it all worked out before she was due.
