Do unto others as you would have them do unto you seems to be  
consistent with that approach.

Humans will just take their problems to outerspace. Nothing  
will change.  Corruption and greed will follow.

Buttom-line: family helps family, that works.  With families  
torn apart by travel and work, the family-unit is broken.

BM posits some interesting concerns with proposed technologies.

I really liked the one episode that was a cool cat-n-mouse type  
story where the "victim" tries to outsmart the attacker. it was  
very intense at times. I can't saw much more unless I mention  
spoilers.  I think it was S4 E4

I think sci-fi is a genre that authors/writers explore and  
propose their philosophical ideas and emote commentary on  
society as well.
